Candy cane lovers are going to love this delicious holiday treat! Whether you call it candy cane brittle or candy cane bark, it still tastes awesome! You and your guests will truly enjoy this Christmas candy recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds white chocolate
  • 30 peppermint candy canes

Instructions

  1. First smash up the candy cane into tiny pieces. You may consider placing them in a Ziploc bag and hitting them with something.
  2. Melt the chocolate in the microwave for 1 - 2 minutes.
  3. Stir.
  4. Heat for another minute.
  5. Stir again.
  6. Continue doing this process until you have completely melted and smooth white chocolate.
  7. Stir broken candy pieces into the melted chocolate and spread the mixture evenly into a jellyroll pan. *Tip ~ line the jellyroll pan with foil first for easy removal and clean up.
  8. Chill until set, at least one hour but probably more.
  9. Break into pieces and store in a sealed container.

Notes

If it's not the holidays get a bag or two of the red and white swirly peppermint candies.

Will this work with dark chocolate or milk chocolate as well?

    Hi Genevieve,

Any type of chocolate should work with these. Please let us know how they turn out.

This looks like a really easy and great recipe. I will try it with my kids for Christmas. I work with Better Recipes and am always reviewing recipes and try different dishes. My kids like to “help” me with the sweet things. You can find more Christmas candy recipes here Christmas Candy Recipes
